2017 ‘Red Packet’ & ‘Pass the “Gut”’ Campaigns

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

Chinese New Year is here. Have you thought about how to bless the poor around the world in some tangible ways that will enhance their health, safety and livelihood?

Join our annual ‘Red Packet’ and ‘Pass the “Gut” – Goodness.Gracious’ Campaigns. Transform your red packet money into a blessing that can help with the basic needs of the poor in Asia and Africa.

‘Red Packet Campaign’redpacket3

You can give a one-time or regular donation to support community development programmes among poor communities in Asia and Africa. Through education, health, vocational training and community groups, poor communities are empowered to develop the capacity to help themselves, promoting individual and community transformation.

You can also request CEDAR red packets to give to friends and family.  Encourage them to send blessings by donating their red packet money.   You will see a new design of this year’s red packet, developed by a primary school student who joined our “Red Packet Design Contest” earlier.   Join us to send the blessings to the families in need and make their dreams come true.

‘Pass the “Gut” – GoodnessGracious Campaign

This Campaign targets children and youth. Each of them will receive a sticker of ‘Goodness Gracious’ and put it on a red packet they would like to donate to us. Your school/church can simply collect all those red packets with stickers and we are going to contact you for pick up arrangement after Chinese New Year.

* Participating churches and schools are welcome to ask for an outreach sharing by CEDAR staff, introducing the impoverished situation in those beneficiary countries and how CEDAR’s development projects can help them get out of poverty.
